Mr Leong Der Yao leads IMDA’s Sectoral Transformation Group in driving digital transformation of industry sectors and enterprises to accelerate Singapore’s economic growth. Prior to this, Mr Leong was the Senior Director of the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Division at the Government Technology Agency of Singapore, focusing on driving public sector digital transformation using data science and AI. Mr Leong has also previously held various public policy and administration roles in the Singapore Government, overseeing human capital development in education and healthcare, bilateral economic relations and internationalisation policies, as well as financial security policies.

Steven is an award winning journalist with over two decades of experience. A familiar face at CNA he currently helms the show Talking Point and podcast Heart of the Matter. Prior to that, he hosted the early morning show – AM Live! as well as evening bulletins such as Singapore Tonight. Outside of work, Steven is an active volunteer. He sits on the board of the YMCA of Singapore, is a member of the Charity Council and also the Chairperson for the NUS Communications and New Media Industry and Advisory Council.

Dasheng is an award-winning business driver with more than 20 years’ experience in omni-channel marketing, strategic development, content, branding, communications, and production on both the media as well as client ends of the business. He currently helms the Commercial Planning and Solutions team at Mediacorp that optimises revenues for the national media network’s platforms as well as develops strategic partnerships with clients for amplification and performance.

With over a decade of experience in digital advertising, Lacey has been a driving force behind revenue growth and innovation in this dynamic sector. Throughout her career, Lacey has held significant roles in Ad tech, content, and SAAS across the APAC region. Serving as the lead for an emerging mobile DSP in Southeast Asia and as the founder and CEO of her own digital content venture. She is currently the Digital Commercial Solutions Lead at Mediacorp, ensuring the company remains on the cutting edge of technology and digital advertising products across its expansive portfolio of 12+ digital platforms.

Panel Discussion 1: Innovation as a Service

Melvyn is responsible for the overall visioning, functioning and performance of Nanyang Polytechnic’s Centre for Industry & Lifelong Learning (CIL3), providing day-to-day leadership and direction with respect to policies and planning of Continuing Education & Training (CET) programmes, technology transfer and industry collaboration activities. He directs the department's work with staff, learners and industry partners to ensure that the Polytechnic achieves its goal in areas of offering quality education in CET as well as co-creating with industry for growth and sustainability.

Hui Hwa has over 25 years of pharmaceutical and healthcare management experience. Prior to her current role as VP and Head of Allied Health, Patient Experience and Group Procurement at IHH Healthcare, she was the Chief Executive Officer of Gleneagles Hospital Singapore, part of IHH Healthcare group of hospitals. Prior to joining Gleneagles, Hui Hwa was the Managing Director and Regional General Manager for Abbott in Singapore, Myanmar and Cambodia.

For over three decades, Albert has brought a wealth of expertise to the tertiary education sector. He is currently a member of the senior management team at Nanyang Polytechnic, Singapore. His illustrious career has seen him lead across a diverse range of academic disciplines, including Engineering, Information Technology, Interactive & Digital Media (IDM), and Design. Recognised as an education management specialist in interactive digital media, Albert has played a pivotal role in developing highly successful diploma and post-diploma programmes that have launched graduates into industry leadership roles. A respected intrapreneur, Albert has spearheaded the creation and management of pioneering centres and start-up incubator, earning recognition from key stakeholders and the industry.

Panel Discussion 2: Digitalising & Globalising SMEs

Mr Andy Choi has held leadership roles in digital product creation and management across multiple enterprises, start-ups, and SMEs in the last 14 years, as COO of Carro, Group UX Lead for Great Eastern Life, and Co-founder at Wildcats.io. With a strong desire to help companies achieve their business goals through deeper understanding and smarter adoption of technology, Mr Choi is now the Deputy Director of the SMEs Go Digital division in IMDA, directing the Industry Digital Plans and      Pre-Approval of PSG solutions for all 23 sectors embarking on Industry Transformation.

Wong Wenbin is the Managing Director, GrabFin, where he oversees Grab's fintech business in Singapore. Prior to this, he was the Head of Product for Grab Financial Group. He is concurrently Head of Commercial for Grab Singapore, where he oversees all merchant sales and account management activities for Grab's deliveries, financial services and advertising businesses. He joined Grab in 2015 and held various roles before assuming his current position and was Head of Operations at Ovo and Director of Strategy at Grab.

Currently serving as the Country Head for SMB at TikTok, Jonathan oversees the SMB business in Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, guiding a dedicated team in partnering with businesses to drive growth through tailored digital strategies. Jonathan's innovative approach, deep industry understanding, and problem-solving abilities have earned him acclaim as a trusted advisor. As a dynamic speaker, he shares actionable insights that empower professionals to thrive in the ever-evolving digital landscape, embodying TikTok's mission of inspiring creativity and joy.

Chloe Liew is a digital marketing strategist, managing some of Google’s biggest and fastest growing E-commerce clients.
