Bite-Sized Micro-Certifications for Continuous Learning

Demanding work schedules especially in the sector of Information Technology (IT) have hindered many professionals from upskilling and reskilling to stay competitive and relevant in the employment market. Committing to long term programmes seems impossible, not to mention the challenge of finding time for one’s family life.
Amidst this ongoing concern, a solution has been brewing and is now ready for the taking!
On 31 August 2023, Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) and the other Institute of Higher Learning (IHLs) signed an MOU with Singapore Computer Society (SCS), to provide bite-sized micro-certification training courses.
Finally! A programme that would enable IT professionals to enhance their skills in areas like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Software Testing enabling them to adapt to emerging technologies and growing industries.

How does this work?
Learners can stack up modules to obtain professional certification tailored to their specific training needs. SCS micro-certifications offer a convenient pathway to continuous learning and professional development.
